"Hold It In" Jukebox the Ghost
I heard this song for the first time last night, a shout out to Benny Thunder for the introduction. (I really wanted to post Sunday's song today, but I resisted. I can't wait.)

"Lisztomania" Phoenix
Lisztomania was a term used to describe the massive public adoration of Franz Liszt's virtuosic performances. Incidentally, this song has nothing to do with Liszt, other than that it would totally blow his 19th-century mind.

"Bogoroditse Devo" SCAHS Master Singers
Today's song is a shamelessly plugged choral favorite which we will actually be singing during the choir concert tonight @ 7 in Martin Chapel. This recording is of my 60 member high school choir, but Interlude still does a nice job of it with only 14 people. Listening suggestion: start the song with the volume so that everything is audible, but still fairly soft. Then stay tuned for 1:36. Relish in it.

"Unskinny Bop" Poison
Bret Michaels has been in the news recently after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Let's take this opportunity to revisit/celebrate 80s hair bands rather than watch a VH1's Rock of Love marathon. Stare at this picture while listening if you want the full effect.

"Rains in Asia" Jump Little Children
70% chance of precipitation, 60% chance of confusing lyrics, 100% chance of neither really mattering.

"Walking in Memphis" Marc Cohn
I've never been to Memphis, but if it's anything like this song, I imagine I'd love it.

"Kiss Me Like A Stranger" Trent Wagler & The Steel Wheels
This is the song that ALWAYS resonates in my head after a Trent Wagler concert (sometimes "Corrine" too). This band is nothing new to the EMU community, but their musical mastery should be enjoyed by all. Try to think of the whole stranger thing more as passionate wild abandon than kinkiness.

"Feel Like Making Love" Bad Company
This song is best at high volumes. In celebration of Friday, be sure to belt along to the chorus (and obviously throw in the air drumming between)!

"Lovers or Friends" Blueskyreality
The instrumentals are simple, but the melody and lyrics are boss (and some nice high harmony in the chorus).

"A Mess It Grows" He Is We
The choruses are what make this song. Stick with it through the sorta weird start. Seriously.

"Mystery Man" The John Butler Trio
As always, the JBT deliver great guitar riffs and a wonderful feel.
